Saul Hernandez
One of the most influential artists in the Latin Rock scene in Mexico, Saul Hernandez is the founder and leader of Jaguares. His extensive career has influenced newcomers in Mexico and Latin America such as Zoé, Panda, Fobia, La Maldita Vecindad, amongst others. During his musical trajectory he has collaborated with worldwide renowned artists: The Rolling Stones, Stuart Copeland, Adrian Belew, Peter Gabriel, and Ana Torroja. He has composed more than 50 Spanish rock classics, of which “La Célula Que Explota”, “No Dejes Que”, “Nubes”, and “Mátenme Por Que Me Muero”, have marked the commencement of Spanish Rock and paved the way for new bands in the genre.
Saul has released 10 albums and “45” the latest release (which is included in our deal) has won 1 Grammy and 2 Latin Grammys in the categories of Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, Best Rock Album by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Rock song, awards that attest the longevity of Saul’s career.
