KEVIN RUDOLF signs global publishing agreement with EMI Music Publishing

EMI Music Publishing, the world’s leading publisher of popular music, has signed a long-term worldwide publishing agreement with singer, songwriter, musician and producer Kevin Rudolf.

 

Rudolf has produced and co-written hits for artists including Lil Wayne, Lifehouse, Cobra Starship and Selena Gomez, as well as for his own career as a recording artist signed to Cash Money/Universal Republic.

 

The New York-born musician’s administration agreement with EMI Music Publishing will see all of his future songwriting work represented by the company’s network of offices around the world. He was signed by EMI Music Publishing Senior Vice President of Creative Rich Christina, and will be A&R’d by Christina in New York, and [Senior Creative Director] Andrew Gould in Los Angeles. Rudolf is managed by Andy Kipnes and Mark Beaven for AAM.

Kevin Rudolf began his career in the music industry as a guitarist working on tracks by artists including Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, Lil Kim and LL Cool J. His debut solo album “In The City” featured the multi-platinum hit ‘Let It Rock’ featuring Lil Wayne, which hit the top 10 in countries including the United States, UK, Germany, Canada and Australia. His second album “To The Sky” was released in June this year. He wrote the first two single’s from Cobra Starship’s latest album, including ‘Good Girls Gone Bad’ (co-written with Kara DioGuardi, and featuring vocals from Leighton Meester) and the title track ‘Hot Mess’. Rudolf also co-wrote ‘Round & Round’, the first single from Selena Gomez & The Scene’s forthcoming album “A Year Without Rain”.
