EMI Music Publishing Takes Top Country Music Honor For Fifth Year Running
EMI Music Publishing added yet another feather to its cap when it won the coveted Publisher of the Year award at the ASCAP Country Music Awards on October 17th, for the fifth consecutive year.
In addition to taking home the prestigious accolade at the ceremony in Nashville, EMI writers won 13 individual song awards. Winners included Darryl Worley, Brad Crisler, Ty Lacy, Jess Brown, Jaime O'Neal, Phil Vassar, Jim "Moose" Brown, Chris Dubois, Connie Harrington and Alan Jackson, who was recognized for his hits Remember When (Greatest Hits Vol 2.) and Too Much Of A Good Thing, both taken from his 2004 Arista LP What I Do.
